Celebrating World Conservation Day with Community Tree Planting.
On July 27th, World Conservation Day was marked by a green initiative in Sumbwe, thanks to a collaborative effort between our organization, Swedo Uganda, Treppan Living, Trinity Forestry Services, and the Climate Smart Children of Lotte Junior School. Together, we planted and distributed trees to promote environmental sustainability in the community.
The day began with an informative session led by Trinity Forestry Services, which emphasized the importance of proper tree planting techniques and the vital role trees play in enhancing our communities. Each tree planted was given a name, fostering a sense of purpose and identity.
Together with the Lotte Junior School students, we embarked on a community walk, proudly distributing “tree siblings” to local residents for planting.
Fakhruddin Properties envisions sustainable communities, and while we may not construct buildings in every area, we take pride in supporting environmental initiatives.
As we celebrate World Conservation Day, we encourage everyone to join us in the vital mission to protect our planet, it’s the only home we have.
