Dear reader,
I attended the international property awards for the African and Arabian countries that were held in Dubai together with the Director of sales and marketing, Mr Haidry Qusai and the Human Resource Manager, Ms Mercy Kyabanabwe.
First, one of the highlights for me was the gathering of different professionals in the real estate industry like developers, interior designers and architects from different horizons discussing the future of our field like, real estate in the future being defined as futuristic and sustainable so more companies are encouraged to invest in housing that meets these criteria.
Another highlight was when Mr Stuart Shield the president of the International Property awards identified the different needs for more housing structures like the many students that travel different places & need housing when they travel to study, the professional nomads that keep traveling for work.
Another captivating topic was the talk about choosing renovations over demolition basically having heritage sites secured as historical places instead, through renovations instead of demolishing them as this will bring in more tourists who will also need housing when they come to visit.
Futher more, the importance of designing retirement homes tailored to the specific needs of older individuals was emphasized, considering the growing number of retirees in our societies.
I am thrilled to share that we won two awards for our projects, Orchid Rise and Tansy Avenue, which we have diligently worked on from conception to construction. Being recognized as one of the most outstanding projects in Uganda was truly exciting, and to add to the joy, we were honored with a five-star award for Orchid Rise. This recognition fills us with immense pride, and I encourage you to visit the project on ground to witness its excellence firsthand.
Going to Fakhruddin head office was definitely homely and the warm welcome and hospitality from the Chief Operating Officer Madam Fatema Hamid and the whole team was truly outstanding as they graciously took time off their busy schedules to show us around their beautifully planned and sustainable office.
Well Dubai itself has very sustainable infrastructure, with stunning well lit skyscrapers in the nights and the thoughtful master plans are remarkable. It’s a vibrant city with many beautiful sites that make it an amazing destination indeed the real estate hub!
If you have reached this far reading, i salute you and invite you to visit our office and check out the projects we are currently working on with our latest offering being Daisy portico which is our most recent project and our team is ready to take you around on tour.
Yours,
Suzan Adrabo
